American Heart Association

As of now due to COVID-19 we are not holding any American Heart Association “classroom” learning courses. We recognize that many of you need current certifications to keep working. For those of you that MUST have your certification for employment we are asking you to go to and register for an online course. If you are a Healthcare worker register for the (BLS), Basic Life Support Class. If not a Healthcare worker you will register for the HeartSaver CPR AED and/or First Aid (if needed). Once you have completed the online course you will receive a certificate of completion. The final step will be to complete the hand on skills portion. This will be done at Dixie Technical College. To complete the skills portion email your AHA online certificate of completion to We will make an appointment for you to come to Dixie Technical College to meet with an instructor, do the hands on skill portion and issue you a card. We will have AHA Skill Pass off appointments available on Tuesdays from 3-6pm and Fridays from 9am-noon. We recognize this is a time of needing to pull together and support each other. We as an American Heart Training Center are here to meet your needs. We are committed to keeping everyone healthy by following state COVID-19 guidelines. If you have further questions please reach out to us.
