Objective:

The Welding Technology program utilizes state-of-the art welding equipment and hands-on learning to prepare students for the American Welding Society (AWS) certification. Students will use welding and cutting processes to join parts according to blueprints or written specifications, in the following industrial skill areas: gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), air carbon arc gouging (ACAG) and air carbon arc cutting (ACAC).
